Origins
Charles Tetteh, a Ghanaian, came to the United States to further his education. He attended Olathe, Kansas, Free Methodist Church. While there, his call to serve God through preaching was renewed, and he desired to bring the Free Methodist witness to his homeland. Charles and his wife, Fredericka, returned to their home country in June 1998. Present Ministries
The Ghana church, under Rev. Tetteh’s leadership, meets in a primary school. In 2008 two leaders completed training requirements and were ordained. Church planting projects continue. The Ghana mission has an ongoing partnership with the Barrie FMC, ON, Canada, in the pursuit of expanding Free Methodist work in Ghana.
