Present Ministries

The Free Methodist Church has two avenues of outreach into Nepal, serving two different regions. The India Immanuel Annual Conference has begun ministry in very remote and isolated valleys in Eastern Nepal among quite primitive tribes that have never heard the gospel. The India Alpha Conference, in partnership with Free Methodist World Missions, is developing a foundation that will support the growth of an innovative church planting movement in the isolated Himalayan border area between Nepal and Tibet. Steve Evoy, who helped found this second work as a VISA missionary, is now the pastor of the Wolverine MI FMC, which is engaged in a sister church relationship with the Nepal Free Methodist Church. In the last two years, 15 churches have been added to the fellowship of 24 churches.
