The REI program encompasses both training for European pastoral candidates and lay leaders as well as equipping of laity from local congregations. The two components have become known as REI Pastors training and REI Retreats. Three REI pastors training classes are usually scheduled for each year in a 3 to 5 day intensive training format. Additional course work is required both prior to and following the class. In some cases students from various countries travel to a central location where the class is held. Funding is needed to assist with travel expenses and accomodations for the teachers as well as for travel and study grants to deserving students. Marcie Huson directs this program.

There is a growing number of people from outside of the US, UK an Canada who are serving in a variety of ministry capabilities with Free Methodist World Missions throughout Europe. These people are often in desperate need of additional support in order to meet their basic costs of living requirements. Some of these missionaries include Tania Goncalves serving in Italy ($9,600) and Cida Matos serving in Portugal ($11, 520). Eszter Bazso - Hungary ($12,000). Gerry and Kati McNamara - Hungary ($12,600). Nito and Liliana Castro - Spain ($15,840).
