Origins
In late 1998 the Costa Rican Free Methodist Church recruited a Panamanian church planter, Domingo Chepote, to begin a Free Methodist Church in Panama City. Present Ministries
Panama has one organized church, a vibrant congregation with a great core of leaders in a strategic location next to a bus depot. The church’s elementary school ministers to 60 children. In early 2010 this church became part of the neighboring Costa Rica Mission District. Plans are underway to offer Bible Institute classes to assist with leadership training.
