ABOUT FMWM

project missions

Project Missions was started in the early 1960's as an avenue to help Free Methodist World Missions by receiving, processing and re-selling used postage stamps. The proceeds are used for projects recommended by Free Methodist World Missions.

Instructions

  • Used United States and Canadian commemorative stamps and foreign stamps should be sent. The commemorative are the larger stamps, valuable because of the limited amount issued. Common one to thirty-seven cent varieties should not be sent, nor Christmas stamps.
  • Torn or cut stamps are of no value.
  • United States stamps should be left on paper, trimmed (never lifted off) with 1/4" margin around them to protect the perforations on the stamps. Foreign stamps have more value if left on the entire envelope, providing the envelope is not torn or otherwise damaged.
  • Uncancelled stamps and used picture postcards in good condition can also be saved.
  • Please do not send damaged stamps, trading stamps, Betty Crocker or other coupons and Campbell labels to this address.
  • If you wish an acknowledgment, send a self-addressed stamped envelope.
