The Barretts’ ministries focus on helping the FM churches in Costa Rica develop healthy leadership and effective ministries. Patrick, as director, is guiding the FM seminary to be a beneficial training resource for pastoral and lay leaders. April teaches in the seminary and assists administratively. She works to strengthen Sunday school programs in the churches by providing training for the directors and coordinating regular district-wide teacher workshops. Both Patrick and April are involved in a newly-formed church planting support committee to help reach the district's goal of one new church per year.
