Katie Bartlett, Free Methodist missionary, will return to Malawi to minister through International Child Care Ministries, women’s ministries and teaching English at Great Commission Bible School in Lilongwe. Katie and her husband, Ryan, served in Malawi from May 2007 until Ryan’s death just 19 months later. Katie’s life experience will give her a unique perspective into one aspect of her ministry to women – working with widows. Katie plans to help the widows build a support system and then, in the future, discover how these women can become self-sufficient. She desires to encourage women in their faith and continually present the gospel to those who do not believe.
