The Sykoras’ ministries in the fast-growing, post-communist economy of Slovakia encompass teaching, pastoring, mentoring and counseling. Josef serves a very active congregation as associate pastor and also teaches pastors from emerging European FM churches. Many of these leaders need the basics on topics including understanding the Bible, church history and systematic theology. Following the turmoil of wars and communism, many Europeans have experienced brokenness and despair; Lynette sees Christian counseling as an avenue for healing. She also offers member care to missionaries and European church planters.
