The Yosts will finish eight months of intense language study in Costa Rica at the end of August 2008. At that time, they will return to Mexico to move into their new roles of training, discipleship and teaching. Brian, a youth pastor for 16 years, will work with local churches to develop and strengthen student ministries. His desire is to raise up a generation of pastors and Christian workers. Laurie will be involved in many aspects of the home office, as well as encouraging, mentoring and building up women’s ministries within the Latin American church. Several short-term experiences opened the Yosts’ eyes to ways they could be involved in God’s global work.
